Barb O'Donnell (Rau)

Studio Owner, Instructor, Practitioner

Barb is a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified instructor.  She received her training at Yoga One in Charlotte, NC.  Prior to receiving her teacher training she trained as an assistant, also at Yoga One.  While Barbs jam is teaching Power, she enjoys slowing it down and teaching other styles as well, particularly Yin, since it is so different and challenges her as a practitioner.  She started her own consistent yoga practice in 2007 as a way to manage stress.  She quickly fell in love with all the other aspects of yoga and hasn't looked back.  Barb is your go-to gal if you are looking to feel empowered, seen, and appreciated!  Join her weekly in the many classes she teaches with us at Yoga on Main in Lincolnton, LLC!

Dina Baxter

Yoga Instructor, Practitioner

Yoga has been a part of Dina’s life since 2004.  Her practice began as a way to compliment an active lifestyle.  Through the years it has helped her grow stronger and be more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat.  Dina completed her 200-hour teacher training with Tanner Bazemore and Johnna Smith at Y2 Yoga in Charlotte, NC. She loves teaching yoga because it connects her with others and allows her to share her passion.  Dina’s yoga practice of choice is power flow with roots in Ashtanga yoga. Her classes are both challenging and light-hearted, holding space for students to be empowered by their physical and emotional strength.  Join her each week at Yoga on Main in Lincolnton, LLC.

Megan Carscaddon

Yoga Instructor, Practitioner

Megan has been a Yoga practitioner for 15 years, initially showing up to her mat for exercise, she noticed a profound change in her overall wellness. While practicing on and off over the last several years, Megan returned to her mat during a particularly difficult time and decided that her practice was what she wanted to share with the world. After completing her yoga teacher training with Vira Bhava Yoga, a school
rooted in the Tantric lineage, Megan began teaching and hasn’t turned back. As a Tantric Yogi, Megan’s yoga classes help to move her students inward. Through slow, intentional, asana, Megan’s classes create a powerful dynamic of movement and meditation. Megan’s Yin yoga classes are a beautiful pairing of asana and meditation. Students settle in to poses that target the connective tissues and fascia in the body, while learning how to bring their attention to their breath. Building self awareness, perseverance, and increasing flexibility, Yin offers deeper access to the body and mind of it’s practitioners. It is an honor for Megan to share her practice and she looks forward to meeting you on the mat!

Lauren Aguirre, L.Ac.

Acupuncturist, Practitioner

Lauren is the owner and operator of True Roots Acupuncture, located in downtown Lincolnton. She received her Master's diploma in Acupuncture & Oriental medicine from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine located in Sugar Grove, NC. The four year program consisted of training in both Eastern & Western medicine as well as a year of extensive hands on clinic experience. She is board certified and licensed in the state of North Carolina. Look for Lauren in our monthly Yin & Mend classes, where we incorporate Yin Yoga, Community Acupuncture, and Yoga Nidra into one 90 minute class!

Courtney Morehead

Yoga Instructor, Practitioner

Courtney is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor and graduate of Vira Bhava Yoga school in Brevard, NC; holding a BA in Psychology.  She began her own practice in 2015 as a way to manage her mental and physical health. A former state employee and elementary school teacher, Courtney found herself on her mat more often than not and realized yoga was the practice her heart longed to share with others. Courtney's tantric yoga teaching style is welcoming, warm, gentle, encouraging, and accessible for all bodies. Her goal is to meet her students exactly where they are, guiding them to turn inward through breath and body awareness, and feeling empowered within their minds, bodies, and spirits. Teaching yoga through this mindset of love, openness, authenticity, and inner-wisdom is a dream come true for her, as a teacher and a lifelong student. She can't wait to meet you on the mat!

Andrea Marriot

Personal Trainer/ Group Exercise Instructor

Andrea is a mom of two, a Certified Personal Trainer and the owner of Thinning Down Chicks Inc. She holds a degree in Science as well as Certifications in Personal Training, CPR, Group Exercise, Weigh Management, TRX, and Nutrition with an extensive background in body transformation and female hormonal health issues. She has a passion and love for various types of Yoga and in her spare time enjoys reading and hiking.

Julie Jasso

Instructor

Julie is a certified Trauma Sensitive Yoga instructor.  She was drawn to her first yoga class over 10 years ago after a running injury.  Seeing the benefits that her own yoga practice brought to her she decided to help others through the practice and became a certified instructor.  Julie loves taking the hot and sweaty powerful yoga classes, but prefers to teach the slower paced variations like deep stretch, slow flow, and gentle.  Julies classes are open to all regardless of you're starting point!

 

Shanda Go

Yoga Instructor, Practitioner

Shanda is a 200 hour yoga alliance certified instructor. After over 15 years of personal practice, she decided to learn more. In 2017 she completed her 200 hour teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC. Since Shanda's initial training, her interest in meditation, massage and restorative yoga have bloomed. Shanda’s goal is to help each student feel more confident in what their body can do and grateful that they have shown up on their mat.
